1. The Bridges: If you already know me, then
you already know about my indescribable and seemingly unstoppable love for this band. I first discovered them in February 2009, and since then their album, "Limits of the Sky" rarely leaves my CD player. Every song on it is perfect. Since I first heard them, I have been to about 7 or 8 concerts in Athens, Atlanta, Columbus, and even Nashville. I have only heard about 3 of their newer songs, but I cannot wait to hear more from them. I love their look and their style, the fact that they're a family band ( 4 siblings and a cousin) and their almost vintage alt-folk style. They're supposed to be announcing a show in Atlanta soon...can't wait.
2. It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia: Though I've known about this show since it premiered in 2005, and even though Ben's been trying to get me into it for a while, I did not ever really see it until recently. However, I started last night and am already half way through season 2. It both amuses and disturbs me that I can relate to this show, and though I won't name names, a few characters definitely remind me of some friends of mine.
3. The Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon: It took me almost a year to get through the second book, but since I finished it, I've gotten through 2 more in just a few months. I've just started the 5th book, The Fiery Cross, and I can't stop reading it. I don't know what exactly it is about these books that are so good, but I just get completely engrossed in them. A little girly for most guys' tastes, probably, but if you're a girl and you like fantasy/historical/sci-fi/romance...yeah, it falls into a few genres...check them out.
