I feel like no matter what game we play, be it Team Fortress 2 or Left4Dead, I will ALWAYS be terrible at it. Okay, granted, I didn't exactly love TF2....but I tried. I eventually just kind of gave up on it because people were jerks to me (because I was bad...) I actually like Left4Dead, but every time I think I'm decent, someone comes along to make me look like an idiot.
Of course, there is a simple solution to this dilemma...or so you would think. You might ask, "Why don't you play game that YOU are good at, Shelley?" Why not? Because I'm good at casual games...like Mario Party and Mario Kart and other ridiculous things like that. Surprisingly, Ben is kind of terrible at them (sorry, Ben). So, no matter what game we play, one of us sucks and gets mad at the other for being awesome. Okay, I'm exaggerating a little. I'm not horrible at L4D. In fact, we're probably pretty level (with me being slightly lower), but I'm pretty sure this is something I will never get any better at, while Ben will always be improving. My ultimate solution to this was to get Fable 3 for both of us when it comes out (which I thought was in October, but the PC release date isn't until February)..I know that's something I'm good at, but Fable 2's co-op was pretty limited, so I'm wondering how it will be for 3. It's supposed to be different/better, but I guess we won't know until then. Another thing we could do it Portal 2 but do we even HAVE a release date for that yet???
Until then, I will continue being mediocre at zombie killing. And if I have a choice, I will always choose Ellis. I think it's the accent. He makes me feel at home :)
